Does my Next.js app need a server?
If it uses server rendering, API routes or middleware, yes, so it runs on one of the server sizes. If you export it as static files, it doesn’t, and it can be one of your five free static apps.
How do updates work?
Connect a GitHub repository and every push rebuilds and updates your app by itself. If a change doesn’t work out, you can go back to an earlier version with one click.
Can I add a database?
Yes. Add a database to your app with one click.
Can I use my own domain?
Yes. Your app gets a secure web address straight away and you can add your own domain whenever you like. SSL is set up and renewed for you.
Can I host an app I built with AI?
Yes. Whether you used Claude, Cursor, Lovable, Bolt or something else, connect the code from GitHub or upload a zip file and we’ll put it online.
What happens if my app gets busy?
Each app has a monthly bandwidth allowance. If it uses all of it, the app pauses rather than running up a bill, so you’re never charged for overages. You can add a bandwidth pack if you need more.
