Does my SvelteKit app need a server?
If it renders pages on the server or has server endpoints, yes, so it runs on one of the server sizes. If it’s built with the static adapter, it doesn’t, and it can be one of your five free static apps.
How do updates work?
Connect a GitHub repository and every push rebuilds and updates your app by itself. If a change doesn’t work out, you can go back to an earlier version with one click.
Can I add a database?
Yes. Add a database to your app with one click.
Can I use my own domain?
Yes. Your app gets a secure web address straight away and you can add your own domain whenever you like. SSL is set up and renewed for you.
What happens if my app gets busy?
Each app has a monthly bandwidth allowance. If it uses all of it, the app pauses rather than running up a bill, so you’re never charged for overages. You can add a bandwidth pack if you need more.
