You give us access to your current host, we do the careful part, and we’ll let you know when everything is ready for you to switch your DNS over. Most migrations are finished within 24 hours of us receiving your details.

Common questions
Is it really free?
Yes. Free same-day migration is included with every Zume hosting plan, from the smallest all the way up. The only exception is if your migration is particularly large or complex, in which case we’ll let you know before we start any work so there are no surprises.
Will my website go offline?
No. We copy your site across and get it working on our servers before you touch anything. Your existing website keeps running the whole time, and your visitors will not see any difference until you’re ready to switch over.
How long does it take?
Most migrations are finished within 24 hours of us receiving your old host details. Larger sites or more complicated setups can take a little longer, and we’ll give you an idea of timing once we’ve had a look.
What do you need from me?
Just your domain, your old host’s login details, and an email address we can reach you on. Everything else is on us.
Will my emails come across too?
Yes, if you use email through your current hosting provider, we’ll bring your mailboxes, forwarders and aliases over as part of the migration.
Do I need to be technical?
Not at all. The whole point is that you don’t have to be. If you can send us your old host login, we can handle the rest.
